Tui is a bird endemic to New Zealand.
Tuis have blue and green feathers on its body. They have a sharp beak and sharp claws. It has a long tail to help them fly. But is most often spotted because of the white fluffy ball on its neck.
Tuis like to eat nectar from flowers such as kowhai and flax. Sometimes tuis eat small insects and ripe fruit.
Tuis copy sounds like songs of other birds, ringtones and speech. This is why some people think they are clever. Tuis hold their heads up high to show they are smart.
Tuis are a fun bird spot.
